I have been dealing with these idiots for 2 weeks now in regards to a missing phone.

The online claim process requires you to fill out an affidavit and submit a drivers license or other ID. When done, the automated email reply says to allow them 48 hours to review.

48 hours comes and goes and the next day I send an email to them (using the automatically generated email that says 'to add additional comments or send updated documents, reply to this email'. A couple days go by and nothing. I finally call only to be told that my ID was 'not clear enough'. This, after it was taken from a color scanner.

I was then advised I needed to submit a copy of my utility bill. Odd, since the instructions that went along with the affidavit makes no mention of that. Ok.. that was then sent in.

Wait a couple says and then when I call to check on things, am advised that I needed to produce all the pages of my utility bill. Why they are concerned about my power consumption, rates, and such makes no sense to me, especially when my address and name are on the front page of the document. I expressed by abundant frustration with a supervisor and was very blunt in advising her I wanted my claim expedited (once I have jumped through the hoop of submitting my utility bill). I had indicated I was tired of the bulls*** run around and wanted my claim processed the next day as my utility bill was to submitted right away.

I was advised that my file would be flagged. I demanded this be taken care of right away and a phone sent out the next day and not to be thrown 'we have to wait 2 days' excuse. She appeared to take my frustration seriously and confirmed it would be taken care of. Not surprisingly, when I called the next day, nothing had been addressed and I was told that there was no way to 'bump' my place in line as the system was automated and taken in the order they were received.

When I asked to speak with someone in a higher authority, I was stonewalled and advised there were no supervisors available. The lying *** essentially said they work with no oversight ? Freakin' unbelievable. All along staff profess they 'are sorry' for the delays but that does not get me anything.

Once again, I raise the incomplete instruction sheet and it's silence in relation to having to submit a utility bill - all pages of the freakin' thing. I was told that this was required in some cases and not others. Why is that? I have gone through several prompts confirming my ID to get to speak with an 'agent', my name and address is registered with them when I bought the plan, my affidavit and drivers license were provided.

Why do they need to know how much energy and water I use?

Incredibly incompetent or lying staff. How can anyone in good conscience work for this company? I guess that's it.

They do not have a conscience. Rogers should dump this company immediately.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
